He was responsible to build relationship and improve the business outcomes for the organization by managing across Govt. line Ministries through collaborative management. Prior to this, he worked as Head, Business Development (Aviation) wherein he was responsible for managing the strategic interest of the organization in its various Joint Ventures (Aviation) and also responsible for other business development activities in the aviation business unit.

Atul has had a rich experience of over 30 years in multi-disciplinary business/marketing environment in the downstream hydrocarbon sector such as LPG, Lubricants, Gas, Industrial & Commercial (I&C) and the Aviation strategic business units. During his career, he has held various appointments in the sales and marketing roles and has a thorough understanding of marketing and management practices in both, national and international markets. Atul has been instrumental in establishing and implementing sales and marketing strategies across multiple line of businesses and these strategies have contributed to the organizations volumetric, network and profitability growth.

Atul has a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) from the Hindu College, Delhi University and an MBA (Business Economics) from New South Campus, Delhi University. He also has an MBA degree in International Business (a silver medallist) from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Delhi- a prestigious and leading business school in India. Atul is a travel and food enthusiast and believes in maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
